US praises Mexico for its customs controls on aluminium
The United States Trade Representative praised Mexico’s implementation of the Aluminium Trade Monitor to curb the transshipment of metals from China and Vietnam. Despite this cooperation, Mexican exports remain subject to the 50 per cent Section 232 tariff.
