Aluminium’s potential grows when we share knowledge

Welcome to aluminio.ar,

I believe in the potential of aluminium. And in everything we can build when we share knowledge to make better use of it.

That conviction gave rise to aluminio.ar, an initiative driven by Perfiles and Metrar to bring aluminium closer to more people, companies and industries. A place to discover its possibilities, broaden its applications and support those who choose it to design, manufacture, build and innovate.

Its lightness, versatility, durability and recyclability make aluminium a material with enormous potential. Making ever better use of it takes information, tools and experiences that help us turn ideas into solutions.

That is why we bring together technical knowledge, practical tools, key indicators and industry news. We want solving a calculation, choosing a material or exploring a new application to become ever simpler and within reach of more people.

Our aim is to build a reference platform for the whole aluminium community: professionals, manufacturers, distributors, architects, designers, technicians, students, institutions and companies from every sector. A space open to different perspectives, where sharing knowledge helps the whole industry grow.

This project is constantly evolving. Every week we add tools, news and content, so that you find new reasons to come back and new resources for your projects.

I invite you to make aluminio.ar your everyday reference, to share it with your colleagues and to send us ideas to keep improving it. Because the better we know aluminium, the more opportunities we find for everyone.

More knowledge. More applications. More opportunities for aluminium.

I hope you enjoy this space and find it useful in your day-to-day work.
