Rio Tinto and RevoCast expand their supply of low-carbon aluminium
Rio Tinto and RevoCast signed a long-term agreement to market low-carbon aluminium ingots in North America. The partnership combines Rio Tinto’s hydro-powered primary aluminium with recycled material from RevoCast’s new plant in Langley.

What you need to know
- RevoCast’s Langley plant, operating since August 2026, produces more than 80,000 tonnes a year of 6xxx series ingots.
- Rio Tinto will exclusively market the ingots produced by RevoCast in British Columbia.
