Heeney Capital to operate Venezuela's top smelter
US-based firm Heeney Capital is negotiating to operate the Venalum smelter, which has a nominal capacity of 430,000 tonnes per year. The initiative came to light following a shipment of 15,000 tonnes of Venezuelan aluminium to the port of Avondale, the first in eight years.
